　鳥インフルエンザがなぜ人に感染しにくいかということについて、Nature Biotechnologyに出た論文をわかりやすく解説したBBCの記事。
　ウイルスの感染には、glycanという糖タンパク質とウイルスの相互作用が重要なのだが、そのglycanの構造がヒトと鳥とで異なっているために、H5N1タイプのウイルスは感染できないらしい。
