ここら辺、最近きちんとフォローしていないなぁ。最終目標は遺伝子ではなく、単一、もしくは複数の薬剤でiPS細胞の誘導を引き起こすことなんだろうな。そのことについては、この本の後半でも書いてあった。

しかし、この本が出た時点から研究は進歩し、より理解が進んでいる。本書の後半の倫理的な面は今でも読む価値があるが、学術面ではちと弱い面もある。
そういえば、iPS細胞についてこんな本も出ていた。まだ読んでないので、あとでチェックしたい。
